The Lab is concerned with problems of clinical and laboratory diagnosis of chronic infections and borreliosis neuroinfections, as well as etiopathogenic and immunological aspects of chronic infectious process in central neural system. The members of the Department closely collaborate with virologists and immunologists at the RIEM. It also renders consultations for medical practitioners as the Republican Center on Chronic Viral Infections.
