The Lab investigates antigenic spectra of viral, bacterial and other infectious pathogens; makes molecular-epidemiologic analysis of mechanisms of circulation of genetic structures in causative agents of natural-foci viral infections; expressing plasma vectors are created to obtain recombinant proteins in antigen-relevant sites of highly dangerous and other viral infections, actual for Belarusian population. The researchers design diagnostic preparations for highly pathogenic (Lassa, Marburg, Machupo) and other viral and bacterial infections (lymphocytic choriomeningitis, tick-borne encephalitis, AIDS, measles, diphtheria, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, hepatitis C, etc.).
