Main R&D Trends:
laboratory diagnosis, studies on pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and course of viral infections, most prevailed and essential for the health of Belarusian population; development of modern methods and means for etiologic and differential diagnosis, therapy and prevention of persistent viral and bacterial infections (HIV, AIDS, various types of herpes and cytomegaloviruses, adenoviruses, Epstein-Barr and varicella-zoster viruses , hepatitis B and C, chlamydia, etc.); monitoring of HIV-infection prevalence on the territory of Belarus with molecular-epidemiologic and molecular-virologic methods.
