• the studies on mechanisms of distribution, variability of pathogenic microorganisms in the environmental objects and human population, mechanisms of the resistance formation to medicins (antibiotics) and disinfectants under specific conditions of hospital environment;
• the investigations of morpho-functional features of immunocompetent cells, elaboration of systemic approach to the investigations of immunopathology;
• the studies on biochemical mechanisms of pathogenesis of actual infectious and somatic human diseases;
• design of novel antimicrobial drugs, immunocorrecting preparations, restoration of cellular metabolism processes;
• development and introduction of innovative lab and clinical microbiological and immunological methods and technologies for manufacture of test-systems, reagents, culture media for microorganisms, indication of bacterial contamination and differential diagnosis of bacterial infections.
