Laboratory for Pre-Clinical Studies of Specific Activity of Virus Inhibitors

The Lab investigates antiviral activity of new synthetic and natural substances, and medical drugs. Specialists of the Lab elaborated new antiviral preparations “Deitiforin”, “Butaminofen”, “Nucleovir”, “Etmantin”, anti-herpes preparation of combined effect, fito-compositions “Fitogor”, “Hitogor”, Hitopan”, new ways of ethiotropic therapy of rotaviral and herpes infections with combined use of Imodium, metronidazol, and acyclovir. Cell culture for the lab diagnosis of enteroviral infections have been executed.
