Influenza and Influenza-Like Diseases Group

The Group is a structural basis for the National Centre on Influenza and Acute Respiratory Diseases, that covers the following activities: epidemiologic process studies; elaboration of anti-epidemic measures as regards influenza and acute respiratory diseases; preparation of analytical surveys, appropriate recommendations and formulation of prognosis for the Belarusian Health Ministry; investigations of efficiency of influenza immunization and chemoprophylaxis; development and improvement of methods for isolation, indication and identification of acute respiratory viral infections agents; design and implementation of diagnostic preparations; scientific-methodical collaboration with the Centers for Hygiene and Epidemiology of Belarus, WHO and National Centers on Influenza and Acute Respiratory Diseases.
